Qualifications:
- LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT. A minimum of 2 years postgraduate experience is preferred.
- Technical proficiency with the ability to utilize EMR tools.
- Active and unrestricted FL license.
- Diverse clinical experience and proven clinical skills.
- Ethical decision-making and ability to provide culturally competent care.
- Empathy and effective communication skills.
- Continuous Learning and commitment to ongoing professional development.
Responsibilities:
- Clinical Assessment: conduct comprehensive assessments of clients, including their mental health history, presenting problems, strengths, and treatment goals.
- Diagnosis: formulate accurate clinical diagnoses based on assessment findings, adhering to diagnostic criteria and guidelines.
- Treatment Planning: collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that outline specific goals, interventions, and measurable outcomes.
- Therapeutic Interventions: provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the needs of clients through individual, couples, family, or group therapy.
- Progress Monitoring: continuously evaluate and document clients’ progress toward treatment goals, adjusting interventions as needed.
- Client Education: educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
- Documentation: maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including biopsychosocial assessments and progress notes while adhering to legal and ethical standards.
- Collaboration: collaborate with other members of the healthcare team, including psychiatrists, nurses, case managers, and support staff, to provide comprehensive care.
- Quality Improvement: participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of clinical services.
- Self-Care: prioritize self-care practices to prevent burnout and maintain personal well-being.
