Alain Joubert is an International Medical Graduate (IMG), Foreign Educated Physician, and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner-Board Certified (PMHNP-BC). A graduate of Florida International University (FIU), he is passionate about providing mental health services to individuals of all ages, and he has special expertise in treating mood disorder, ADHD, psychotic disorder, and substance dependence. He is also Suboxone certified to treat opiate addiction.
Joubert has significant acute inpatient and outpatient experience, having served as the supervisor of middle level psychiatric providers at Broward Health Medical Center. He is also a clinical sub-investigator at Research Centers of America and works in close collaboration with Dr. Ventre, Dr. Mendiratta, Dr. Cordero, Dr. Caro, and Dr. Perdomo. He joined Ventre Medical Associates (VMA) in April 2016 and, in 2017, he was honored with the VMA 2017 Provider of the Year award.
