Ashley Martinez was born and raised in Miami, FL, and has always had a passion for mental health. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Florida International University and then became a registered nurse after completing a second bachelor’s degree at Miami Dade College School of Nursing. After working in the emergency room setting for multiple years she realized the need for mental health services in the community. She then decided to pursue her Master’s degree at Nova Southeastern University where she graduated Cum Laude and joined the family at My Psychiatrist.

We had a lovely first visit with Dr. Caro! He cares very much, we felt after our visit with him! I felt that there would be some light at the end of our visit, for me as my husband’s caregiver! Thank you to the staff who all we just lovely to us as well!
