Stephanie Goossens is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience working in different roles with children, adolescents, and young adults, including foster and at-risk youth. In the last 3 years, she has also worked alongside families and a diverse adult population ensuring comprehensive behavioral health services that help them improve their quality of life. She obtained her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Social Work from Florida International University with a certification in Child Welfare.
She provides culturally competent services and individualized care by meeting clients where they are personally and emotionally. Stephanie believes in the importance of a strong therapeutic alliance where clients actively collaborate in their treatment. As a Clinician, she has worked with clients struggling with a wide range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to interpersonal problems, racial/ethnic issues, family issues, adjustment disorder, trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and bipolar disorder. Stephanie utilizes practical clinical skills and various therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and a Strength-Based Approach.
