Journey and Approach to Care
Maria joined the My Psychiatrist team while pursuing her Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) at Florida International University. Prior to this, she served as a Registered Nurse at Florida’s Henderson Behavioral Health, where she gained extensive experience in psychiatric care. Maria’s commitment to mental health advocacy and her passion for empowering her patients drive her therapeutic approach.
