Journey and Approach to Care

Dr. Delgado earned her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and completed her psychiatry residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, New York, where she was selected as Chief Resident. During her training, she gained extensive experience treating a wide range of psychiatric conditions across inpatient, outpatient, emergency, addiction, and consultation-liaison settings.

She works with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and interpersonal challenges, helping patients develop insight, build resilience, and improve overall emotional well-being. Her approach integrates evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic principles, and supportive therapy, allowing her to tailor care to each patient’s needs.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Delgado fosters meaningful connection and cultural understanding in the therapeutic relationship. Her style is warm, collaborative, and grounded, focused on helping patients move toward greater balance, clarity, and fulfillment in their lives.
