Jacqueline (“Jackie”) King, LCSW is a compassionate, client-centered therapist who provides services in both English and Spanish. She believes that healing begins when people feel heard, understood, and supported. Jackie creates a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts and experiences openly at their own pace.
Jackie works with individuals navigating depression, anxiety, mood disorders, stress, life transitions, and other emotional struggles. She partners with clients to help them build resilience, strengthen self-confidence, and create meaningful, lasting change.
Journey and Approach to Care
Before becoming a therapist, Jackie spent more than a decade as a Social Worker and Case Manager in inpatient hospital settings, including behavioral health and crisis stabilization. Her experience supporting individuals through acute mental health and substance use crises deepened her passion for helping people achieve long-term wellness and personal growth.
Jackie approaches therapy with empathy, collaboration, and authenticity. She draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness-based interventions, and trauma-informed care. Her goal is to help clients better understand themselves, build on their strengths, and develop tools to face life’s challenges with greater confidence. Jackie believes difficult chapters in life do not define a person. Everyone deserves to feel seen, supported, and empowered as they work towards a more fulfilling life.
