Through telehealth, David creates a collaborative and supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their therapeutic journey.

Journey and Approach to Care

David’s professional experience spans school-based mental health, community counseling, crisis intervention, and family therapy. Early in his career, he worked as a foster care caseworker specializing in early permanency planning, partnering with caregivers and families affected by HIV/AIDS. In this role, he provided permanency planning, grief counseling, crisis intervention, and advocacy, helping families navigate complex emotional challenges and life transitions with compassion and dignity. These experiences continue to shape his holistic, client-centered approach to care.

For more than two decades, David has served as a School Social Worker, conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments, providing individual and family counseling, responding to behavioral health crises, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and connect clients with valuable community resources. He believes every client possesses unique strengths and that healing begins with a trusting therapeutic relationship built on empathy, respect, and collaboration.
