Great Diagnoses Don’t Begin With Testing. They Begin With Clinical Judgment.
Every patient deserves more than an assessment.
They deserve clarity.
A thoughtful diagnostic process.
A report that guides treatment—not simply documents findings.
At My Psychiatrist, psychological testing isn’t viewed as an isolated service.
It’s an essential part of integrated behavioral healthcare.
Our Psychologists provide the diagnostic insight that helps patients, families, psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, therapists, and referring providers make informed clinical decisions.
If you’re passionate about diagnostic excellence, evidence-based assessment, and building systems that elevate patient care, you’ll find meaningful work here.
The Why Behind the Role
Behind every effective treatment plan is an accurate understanding of the person sitting in front of you.
Sometimes the question is whether ADHD is truly ADHD.
Sometimes it’s differentiating trauma from mood disorders.
Sometimes it’s helping a family understand why their child is struggling.
Sometimes it’s providing clarity after years of unanswered questions.
Those moments require more than testing.
They require clinical reasoning.
As a Psychologist at My Psychiatrist, you’ll provide the diagnostic leadership that helps shape care across our multidisciplinary practice.
You’ll partner with Psychometrists, Psychiatrists, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, Therapists, and Clinical Operations teams to ensure every evaluation produces meaningful, actionable insight.
This role is exclusively focused on psychological and neuropsychological assessment—not psychotherapy—with responsibilities centered on biopsychosocial consultations, diagnostic formulation, report authorship, and clinical oversight of Psychometrists.
The Role
Based in our Hollywood office, you’ll serve as a doctoral-level clinical leader within our growing Psychometrics Department.
Working within a physician-led, multidisciplinary environment, you’ll conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial consultations, determine appropriate testing pathways, interpret assessment data, author psychologically sophisticated reports, provide feedback sessions to patients and families, and mentor assigned Psychometrists throughout the testing process.
Our preferred work model is intentionally designed to support both collaboration and deep clinical work:
- Four days each week onsite, working closely with patients, Psychometrists, and providers
- One remote day dedicated primarily to uninterrupted report writing and diagnostic documentation
You’ll help create efficient workflows that support approximately 25–35 consultations per week while maintaining timely report completion and providing ongoing guidance to Psychometrists throughout the consultation-to-testing-to-report process.
You’ll operate at the intersection of:
- Diagnostic Leadership
- Psychological Assessment
- Clinical Collaboration
- Psychometrist Supervision
- Report Authorship
- Operational Excellence

Assessment Interpretation & Report Authorship
- Integrate assessment data, behavioral observations, clinical history, and collateral information into comprehensive diagnostic reports
- Produce timely, clinically rigorous psychological and neuropsychological evaluations
- Ensure reports meet APA ethical standards, Florida Board of Psychology requirements, payer expectations, and organizational quality standards
Clinical Leadership
- Provide ongoing clinical oversight and mentorship to assigned Psychometrists
- Guide testing protocols, interpretation, administration quality, and behavioral observations
- Foster a collaborative learning environment built on clinical excellence and continuous improvement
Multidisciplinary Collaboration
- Partner closely with Psychiatrists, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, Therapists, Care Coordinators, and Clinical Operations teams
- Contribute diagnostic expertise during multidisciplinary case discussions
- Help ensure psychological assessment strengthens continuity of care across the organization

- Build efficient workflows that support consultation volume, testing coordination, and report turnaround
- Complete documentation accurately and within established timelines
- Utilize EHR systems, telehealth platforms, and AI-assisted documentation tools effectively while maintaining HIPAA compliance and organizational standards
