Medical Assistant (Oakland Park)

More Than a Medical Assistant. Be a Clinical Partner.

Great psychiatric care happens when the clinical team around the provider operates with the same precision, urgency, and commitment to the patient.

At My Psychiatrist, our Medical Assistants are clinical partners—supporting Psychiatrists, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, and Psychiatry Residents while helping medical operations move seamlessly around them.

As a bilingual Medical Assistant at My Psychiatrist in Oakland Park, you’ll support both in-person and telehealth care. You will help prepare patients for care, keep providers informed, coordinate medication and refill workflows, support labs and diagnostic testing, manage clinical communication, and make sure important details don’t get lost between appointments.

What You’ll Own

Patient Intake & Clinical Support

  • Perform patient intake, medical history review, and medication reconciliation
  • Obtain and document vital signs, screening tools, and chief complaints
  • Prepare patients and examination rooms

Medication, Refill & Laboratory Workflows

Documentation & Operational Excellence

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation within the Electronic Health Record
  • Protect patient confidentiality and maintain HIPAA compliance
  • Support provider efficiency by reducing unnecessary administrative barriers

The work isn’t finished because the task was completed. It’s finished when the right person knows, the documentation is accurate, and the next step is clear.
