Patient Care Liaison (Plantation, FL)

More Than a Front Desk. Own the Patient Experience.

Exceptional patient care begins long before the patient meets their provider.

It begins with the person who welcomes them, knows what happens next, keeps the schedule moving, catches the missing detail, follows up when an appointment is missed, and makes a complicated healthcare experience feel organized.

At My Psychiatrist, our Patient Care Liaisons are operational partners supporting patients, providers, and Practice Operations while helping the entire patient journey move seamlessly around them.

As a Patient Care Liaison at My Psychiatrist in Plantation, you’ll own key parts of the patient experience from check-in through follow-up. You’ll coordinate appointments, protect provider schedules, complete Pre-Visit Planning, support insurance and payment workflows, recapture missed appointments, and make sure patients know what happens next.

If you take pride in structure, ownership, follow-through, and meaningful human connection, this role was built for you.

Why This Opportunity

My Psychiatrist is a growing, physician-led behavioral health organization bringing together:

Psychiatry | Therapy | Psychological & Neuropsychological Testing | TMS & Neuromodulation | SPRAVATO® | Patient Operations

Everything we build is grounded in one belief:

Exceptional patient care happens when clinical excellence, operational precision, and human connection work together.

As a Patient Care Liaison, you’re part of making that happen.

And as My Psychiatrist grows, we want the people helping us build it to grow with us.

Build a career, not just experience.

And you’ll have the infrastructure and benefits to support you along the way:

  • Competitive hourly pay
  • Additional earning potential through productivity incentives
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • 13 annual paid days off + paid holidays
  • Tenure recognition
  • Structured onboarding and hands-on training
  • Ongoing professional development
  • Collaborative, physician-led behavioral healthcare environment

What You’ll Own

Patient Experience & Front-Office Operations

  • Welcome patients with professionalism, warmth, and confidence
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out accurately and efficiently
  • Verify and update patient demographics, insurance information, consent forms, and contact information
  • Collect copayments, deductibles, coinsurance, and outstanding patient ballances

Scheduling & Continuity of Care

  • Schedule and coordinate appointments according to provider treatment plans and organizational workflows
  • Complete Pre-Visit Planning (PVP) within established timelines
  • Confirm appointments at least 48 hours before scheduled visits
  • Verify insurance, appointment details, and patient readiness before visits

Cancellation & No-Show Recapture

  • Proactively contact and attempt to reschedule patients who cancel or miss appointments
  • Support continuity of care, patient retention, and provider schedule utilization
  • Take ownership of the follow-through instead of waiting for the patient to call back
  • Identify recurring barriers to appointment attendance

Communication & Operational Excellence

  • Serve as a trusted liaison between patients, providers, Medical Assistants, Practice Leadership, Contact Center teams, and Clinical Operations
  • Maintain accurate patient registration and payment documentation
  • Contribute to workflow improvements that strengthen both patient experience and operational efficiency
  • Document patient interactions, scheduling changes, communication attempts, and concerns accurately and in real time

The work isn’t finished because the appointment was scheduled. It’s finished when the details are accurate, the patient knows what happens next, and the provider’s schedule is ready for care.

What Success Looks Like

  • Your patients feel welcomed and informed
  • Your providers can rely on you
  • Your schedules are accurate and organized
  • Your Pre-Visit Planning and appointment confirmations are completed on time
  • Cancelled and missed appointments receive proactive follow-up
  • Patient registration and payment collection are accurate
  • You catch scheduling discrepancies before they become problems
  • You know when something needs escalation
  • You stay calm when the office gets busy
  • And when you own something, the team doesn’t have to wonder whether it was finished.

That’s the standard of Patient Care Liaison support we’re building here.
