Lead the Market. Build What Comes Next.
My Psychiatrist is seeking an accomplished healthcare operations executive to lead our continued growth and operational development across Central Florida and the I-4 Corridor.
This is a senior executive opportunity for someone who has already led multi-site, provider-based healthcare operations at meaningful scale and understands what it takes to turn market opportunity into a high-performing healthcare operation.
The Vice President of Operations will be responsible for regional operating performance, market expansion, provider and physician partnerships, leadership development, new-site growth, strategic relationships, and execution of enterprise priorities across Central Florida.
This is not a first-time healthcare leadership opportunity.
Candidates without substantial senior leadership experience in multi-site outpatient, ambulatory, physician-practice, behavioral health, specialty, or comparable provider-based healthcare operations will not be considered.
Why My Psychiatrist
My Psychiatrist is a growing, physician-led behavioral healthcare organization bringing together:
Psychiatry | Therapy | Psychological & Neuropsychological Testing | TMS & Neuromodulation | SPRAVATO® | Patient Operations
We are expanding our presence across Florida, and Central Florida represents an important part of our next stage of growth.
This role offers:
- A real operating mandate. Own performance and growth across a strategically important region.
- Direct executive access. Work directly with the CEO, Co-Founder & President, and executive leadership.
- Market-building responsibility. Help determine where and how we expand across Central Florida.
- Operational authority. Build the leadership, systems, accountability, and infrastructure required to perform at scale.
- Visible impact. Markets developed. Locations launched. Providers supported. Partnerships created. Performance improved.
- Enterprise influence. Bring the realities of the market into decisions that shape the future of the organization.
We’re not looking for someone to simply maintain what already exists.
We’re looking for an executive who can operate today while building what comes next.
The Mandate
The Vice President of Operations — Central Florida will be accountable for building a high-performing, scalable regional operating platform while identifying and executing opportunities for continued growth.
You’ll be expected to:
- Lead multi-site healthcare operations across Central Florida
- Own regional operational and financial performance
- Build and develop regional and practice-level leadership
- Improve provider productivity, capacity, patient access, and workforce efficiency
- Establish clear KPIs, operating standards, and accountability
- Identify and correct underperforming operations
- Lead new-site launches and market expansion
- Build strategic relationships with physicians, health systems, referral partners, payers, and healthcare leaders
- Evaluate acquisition, partnership, and affiliation opportunities
- Translate enterprise strategy into regional execution
- Build the operating infrastructure required for continued scale
Growth without operational discipline creates complexity. This role is responsible for building both.
What You’ll Own
Central Florida Operations
Own operating performance across the region.
- Lead performance across multiple practices, providers, and operational teams
- Establish clear expectations for regional and practice leadership
- Evaluate performance by location, service line, and provider
- Identify operating variance and address root causes
- Improve patient access, scheduling, capacity utilization, patient flow, and service delivery
- Strengthen provider support and operational readiness
- Establish disciplined operating rhythms and performance reviews
- Ensure operational and regulatory standards are consistently maintained
Financial & Performance Management
Operate the region as a business.
- Own or directly influence regional P&L and operating performance
- Establish and manage regional KPIs
- Improve provider productivity and capacity utilization
- Optimize workforce productivity and labor efficiency
- Identify revenue leakage, underutilized capacity, unnecessary cost, and workflow inefficiency
- Partner with Finance and executive leadership on budgets, forecasts, investments, and performance
- Translate operational decisions into measurable financial outcomes
Leadership & Organizational Accountability
Lead leaders—not simply individual contributors.
- Lead and develop regional, practice, and operational leadership
- Establish clear roles, decision rights, expectations, and accountability
- Assess leadership capability and address performance or organizational gaps
- Build succession depth as the region expands
- Develop leaders capable of solving problems without unnecessary executive escalation
- Create an environment where performance issues are identified early and addressed directly
The goal is not to make the organization dependent on the VP.
The goal is to build leaders capable of running increasingly complex operations exceptionally well.
Market Development & Expansion
Central Florida and the I-4 Corridor will be major priorities.
- Evaluate new markets through patient demand, provider supply, referral patterns, payer dynamics, competition, physician networks, health systems, and operating economics
- Identify opportunities for new locations, service expansion, affiliations, partnerships, and acquisitions
- Build market-entry and expansion plans
- Establish leadership, staffing, provider, infrastructure, and capacity requirements before launch
- Lead operational execution of new-site openings
- Ensure new locations achieve defined operational and financial performance expectations
- Build repeatable expansion models capable of supporting continued growth
We don’t want a collection of locations. We want a regional operating strategy.
Physician, Health System & Strategic Relationships
Build executive-level relationships capable of strengthening the Central Florida platform.
Develop relationships across:
- Physicians and physician groups
- Health systems and hospitals
- Primary care and specialty organizations
- Behavioral healthcare organizations
- Referral partners
- Commercial payers and managed care organizations
- Healthcare executives and market leaders
- Strategic partners and investors, where appropriate
These relationships should create measurable value through patient access, provider recruitment, referrals, partnerships, market intelligence, expansion, or strategic opportunities.
Strategic Growth & Development
Bring an operator’s discipline to growth decisions.
- Identify potential acquisitions, affiliations, partnerships, and other strategic opportunities
- Develop proprietary opportunities through relationships with physicians, practice owners, healthcare executives, and market leaders
- Evaluate strategic fit, market position, operating performance, financial implications, and execution risk
- Participate in operational diligence and integration planning
- Partner with executive leadership on investment and expansion decisions
- Ensure growth opportunities have credible operating plans before resources and capital are committed
The objective isn’t growth for growth’s sake. It’s disciplined growth that creates enterprise value.
Enterprise Strategy & Innovation
Serve as a senior operating partner to executive leadership.
- Bring Central Florida market intelligence into enterprise decision-making
- Translate enterprise strategy into regional priorities and measurable outcomes
- Evaluate new services, care models, technologies, and operating capabilities
- Assess operational feasibility before major initiatives are launched
- Identify leadership, workforce, infrastructure, and technology requirements for future scale
- Challenge legacy processes when better operating models exist
- Help leadership determine which opportunities should be pursued, redesigned, delayed, or declined
What You’ll Bring
Required Executive Experience
- 12+ years of progressive healthcare operations leadership experience
- 5+ years at the VP, Regional VP, Division VP, COO, Regional President, Division President, or comparable senior healthcare leadership level
- Direct leadership responsibility for multi-site, provider-based healthcare operations
- Significant experience within outpatient, ambulatory, physician-practice, behavioral health, specialty healthcare, or a comparable provider-based environment
- Leadership responsibility across multiple practices, locations, markets, or regions
- Demonstrated P&L ownership or direct accountability for significant operating budgets and financial performance
- Experience leading and developing Directors, regional leaders, practice leaders, or other senior operational leaders
- Demonstrated success improving operational and financial performance
- Strong experience with provider productivity, capacity utilization, patient access, and workforce optimization
- Track record of improving underperforming practices, locations, or business units
- Experience launching new locations, entering new markets, or scaling healthcare operations
- Experience establishing and managing operational KPIs
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into execution
- Substantial experience partnering directly with physicians and clinical executives
- Strong financial, analytical, and business acumen
- Executive-level communication, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, MHA, or comparable advanced degree preferred
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Central Florida
- Ability and willingness to travel significantly throughout the region
Experience within behavioral health, physician practice management, multi-specialty healthcare, specialty healthcare, ambulatory care, MSO/PPM organizations, or other rapidly growing provider platforms is highly desirable.

We are specifically seeking an executive who has already led multi-site healthcare operations and understands the operational realities of managing providers, practices, people, patient access, and financial performance.
What Success Looks Like
The first 12 months should produce evidence—not simply activity.
You’ll be expected to:
- Establish a disciplined Central Florida operating model

- Improve provider utilization, capacity, and patient access
- Establish measurable operating KPIs and performance rhythms

- Successfully operationalize new-market and new-site opportunities
- Develop meaningful physician, health-system, payer, and healthcare relationships
- Build a qualified pipeline of expansion, partnership, affiliation, and acquisition opportunities
- Strengthen the leadership and infrastructure required for continued regional scale
- Translate enterprise priorities into measurable regional results
Activity isn’t the objective. Performance and enterprise value are.
Executive Selection Process
Qualified candidates will progress through:
1. Video Interview — Talent Executive
2. Video Interview — Co-Founder & President
3. Video Interview — C-Suite Executive Panel
4. Final In-Person Interview — Executive Leadership & Ownership
The process is designed to provide mutual visibility—into your experience and judgment, and into the leadership team, mandate, and organization you’re evaluating.
Build What Comes Next.
If you’ve already led multi-site, provider-based healthcare operations…
If you’ve been accountable for both people and P&L…
If you know how to improve today’s performance while building tomorrow’s infrastructure…
If you can earn credibility with physicians, develop strong operational leaders, and turn market opportunity into executable growth…
And if you want a seat where your judgment can materially influence what an organization becomes next…
We should talk.
