Julia Eisman, DO, is a dedicated and compassionate physician currently completing her psychiatry residency at Broward Health. Dr. Eisman is comfortable seeing patients 18+ and is experienced in treating depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, adjustment disorders, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

Journey and Approach to Care

Dr. Eisman was born and raised in Connecticut. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Emory University before completing her medical degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) in Georgia. Although each move brought her farther south, she discovered that Georgia still wasn’t quite warm enough or close enough to the ocean, ultimately bringing her to the place she now calls home.
Inspired by meaningful clinical experiences and exceptional mentors, Dr. Eisman discovered that her greatest fulfillment comes from partnering with patients as they work toward healing, resilience, and lasting emotional wellness. Dr. Eisman believes psychiatry is where science, empathy, and advocacy come together to transform evidence-based medicine into deeply personalized, compassionate care. Guided by this philosophy, she strives to understand each patient’s unique story and goals through genuine care, attentive listening, and collaboration, fostering therapeutic relationships where patients feel safe, respected, supported, and empowered.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Eisman enjoys spending time with her family and friends, weightlifting, playing tennis, traveling, walking at parks, and discovering new restaurants.
