About Pia Duprat, PMHNP-BC

Pia Duprat, MSN, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized mental health care. She is also a Certified Case Manager (CCM) and is certified in Mind-Body Medicine, bringing a well-rounded perspective to psychiatric care that considers both mental health needs and the many factors that influence overall well-being.

She believes that meaningful treatment begins with listening. Every person brings a unique history, set of experiences, challenges, strengths, and goals to treatment, and Pia strives to create a welcoming environment where patients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their care.

Compassionate, Collaborative, and Focused on You

Approach to Care

Pia’s clinical background includes working in inpatient psychiatric settings with individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health conditions. Her experience caring for patients with complex psychiatric needs has given her a strong appreciation for the importance of meeting people where they are and developing treatment plans that reflect the individual—not simply the diagnosis.

Her background in case management, Mind-Body Medicine, Whole Health, and wellness has further shaped her approach to psychiatric care. Pia recognizes that mental health does not exist in isolation. Sleep, physical health, relationships, stress, lifestyle, environment, and personal goals can all influence emotional well-being.

For this reason, Pia approaches each patient as a whole person, combining evidence-based psychiatric treatment with compassionate, patient-centered care. She values collaboration and open communication and believes patients should understand their treatment options and have an active voice in decisions about their mental health.

Above all, Pia wants her patients to know that they will be listened to. Her goal is to build a therapeutic relationship based on trust, respect, and genuine human connection while helping each person work toward greater stability, functioning, and quality of life.
