Ana Maria Borrero, APRN, is a compassionate Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at My Psychiatrist. With dual certifications and fluency in both English and Spanish, Ana Maria is dedicated to providing quality psychiatric care to patients ages 6 and up from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Her Journey and Approach to Care
Ana Maria began her medical career with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Florida International University. Driven by a passion for mental health, she graduated with honors as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Florida International University in 2011. Seeking to further specialize, she earned a Post-Graduate Degree as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of South Alabama in 2019.
With experience at Gracepoint Wellness, a not-for-profit organization in Tampa, Florida, since 2020, and at Suncoast Behavioral Center, an inpatient psychiatric facility since 2015, Ana Maria has gained extensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Her approach is holistic and patient-centered, focusing on creating a supportive environment where patients feel heard and empowered.
