Her Journey and Approach to Care

Nafeeza began her nursing career after earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Barry University. She started in the Intensive Care Unit, where she gained invaluable experience working with patients facing complex medical conditions. This experience deepened her understanding of the holistic needs of patients and sparked her interest in mental health.

Driven by her passion for psychiatry, Nafeeza pursued a Master’s Degree in Nursing Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of Miami, where she represented her graduate psych program as one of the class senators. She further specialized by obtaining a Post-Master’s Certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of Miami.

Nafeeza is dedicated to making mental health care accessible and is actively involved in promoting mental health awareness in the community.
