His Journey and Approach to Care
Dr. Shekar earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the Trinity School of Medicine in St. Vincent and Grenadines, where he developed a strong foundation in the field of medicine. Currently, he is diligently completing his Psychiatric Residency at Broward Health Imperial Point and Broward Health Medical Center. During his residency, Dr. Shekar is gaining valuable experience in both Adult Inpatient and Outpatient Medicine, ensuring he can provide comprehensive and holistic care to his patients.
Dr. Shekar has a keen interest in Interventional Psychiatry, specializing in innovative treatments such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT). He is committed to staying at the forefront of medical advancements to offer the best possible treatments to his patients.
