Her Journey and Approach to Care
Nadia’s passion for helping others began early, leading her to a career in nursing that blends her love of science and service. Her time in the U.S. Navy and extensive travels deepened her empathy and connection with diverse cultures, including military personnel and their families, understanding the unique challenges of service and deployments.
With over a decade of experience, Nadia provides culturally sensitive care, understanding that behavior is shaped by upbringing, trauma, and culture. She educates patients on the science of psychiatric symptoms, emphasizing that the brain, like any organ, requires proper care—just as we cannot will the pancreas to produce insulin, we cannot will away depression.
