Robert Weiss, PMHNP-BC, is a dedicated and compassionate Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at My Psychiatrist. With extensive experience providing counseling and wellness coaching in the behavioral health field since 2015, Robert is committed to the health, well-being, and wholeness of all his clients.

His Journey and Approach to Care

Robert received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from New Jersey City State University in 2013. He furthered his education by obtaining his APRN, Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMH-NP) degreefrom Nova Southeastern University in 2022. In 2014, Robert received training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, to become a Nationally Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC). Additionally, he attended Florida State University in 2015 to become a Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist (CTTS).

Since 2015, Robert has been providing counseling and wellness coaching, demonstrating his dedication to supporting individuals in achieving their best possible lives. He provides psychiatric care through a team-based approach, including consultation, assessment, treatment selection, medication management, and multi-disciplinary coordination of care. Robert has experience treating patients in a variety of settings, including acute inpatient care, outpatient clinics, and telehealth.

He is particularly sensitive to diverse, multicultural populations and has a special affinity for working with clients in the adult/senior and LGBTQ+ communities. Robert believes in creating a collaborative and empathetic environment, where clients feel understood and empowered to lead fulfilling lives.
