To Excel in this Role, You Should Possess:
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certification or eligibility
- Valid DEA certification
- Unencumbered State Licensure
As a Pivotal Member of Our Diverse Team, Your Role Encompasses:
- Comprehensive Psychiatric Evaluations: conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations to assess clients’ mental health histories, symptoms, and psychosocial factors to formulate accurate diagnoses.
- Tailored Treatment Planning: develop individualized treatment plans that may include a combination of medication management, psychotherapy, and other therapeutic modalities based on clients’ unique needs and diagnosis.
- Medication Management: prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, including monitoring for efficacy, side effects, and potential interactions, while ensuring client safety.
- Therapeutic Interventions: provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as psychotherapy, counseling, or supportive therapy, to address clients’ emotional and psychological needs.
- Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Mappings: conduct TMS mappings as needed, ensuring the accurate and safe application of this specialized therapeutic technique for clients with treatment-resistant depression or other conditions.
- Referral Facilitation: collaborate with other healthcare professionals to facilitate referrals for patients who may require supplementary treatment, such as substance abuse treatment, TMS, Spravato, or neuropsychological assessments.
- Coordination of Care: coordinate and integrate psychiatric care with other members of the healthcare team, including psychologists, nurse practitioners, social workers, and counselors, to provide holistic care to clients.
- Documentation: maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including assessment notes, progress notes, medication records, and treatment plans, in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Quality Improvement: participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the quality and effectiveness of psychiatric services within the practice.
- Self-Care: prioritize personal self-care practices to prevent burnout and maintain physical and emotional well-being.
