Alexandria Agostinelli, LMFT, is a compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at My Psychiatrist in Boca Raton, Florida. Dedicated to guiding clients toward mental wellness, she specializes in treating substance abuse, depression, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, and provides crisis intervention. Known for her gentle yet direct approach, Alexandria creates a safe and welcoming environment where clients feel comfortable expressing their emotions and thoughts.

Her Journey and Approach to Care

Alexandria holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Florida State University and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. With extensive experience working with adolescents in school settings and in the substance abuse industry, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her practice.

In her role as a Primary Therapist at The Recovery Team, she co-led quality assurance initiatives, demonstrated flexibility in group counseling, and collaborated across departments to enhance patient outcomes. Alexandria is committed to evidence-based practices, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Family Systems, and Motivational Interviewing to provide the highest quality care.

Her compassionate and patient-centered approach ensures that each client feels supported and empowered on their journey to wellness. Alexandria is dedicated to helping clients discover their voice and self-worth, building resilience, and achieving their mental health goals.
