Andrea’s career began with earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix, where she also gained significant experience working in an acute inpatient drug and alcohol detox unit for eight years. She later achieved her Master of Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Nova Southeastern University and further specialized with a Post-Master’s Certification in Psychiatric Mental Health from Florida State University.

With a robust foundation in various nursing disciplines such as medical-surgical care, telemetry, cardiac catheterization, oncology, and maternal health, Andrea brings a wealth of knowledge to her practice. For the past three years, she has been a pivotal member of the My Psychiatrist team. Originally from Jamaica but having spent most of her life in Florida, Andrea enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with family and friends.
