Aracelis “AJay” Wynn, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, is a double board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner providing care in Boca Raton and across Florida via telehealth. With over a decade of clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, and behavioral health, she delivers comprehensive, patient-centered mental health care rooted in evidence-based practice.

Originally from New Jersey, AJay has made South Florida her home for many years and brings both a broad life perspective and a deep connection to the community she serves. Her background includes extensive hands-on experience treating patients with a wide range of acute and complex medical and psychiatric conditions, allowing her to approach mental health through both a clinical and holistic lens.

AJay believes that healing begins when mental and physical health are treated as one. Her goal is to help patients feel better, function more fully, and build a life aligned with their values, supporting them in becoming the best version of themselves.

Her Journey and Approach to Care

AJay’s passion for psychiatry was strengthened during the COVID-19 pandemic while serving on the frontlines in New York City. This experience deepened her understanding of the connection between mental and physical health and reinforced her commitment to compassionate, whole-person care.

She believes that mental health shapes every aspect of life—from relationships and work performance to physical well-being. AJay works with individuals navigating depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and trauma-related conditions, helping patients better understand their experiences while building the tools needed for stability and growth. She also emphasizes preventive mental health and long-term wellness, recognizing that care is not only about treating symptoms, but about supporting a more balanced and fulfilling life.

Her approach is collaborative and individualized, focused on creating treatment plans that reflect each patient’s unique needs, goals, and lived experiences. Fluent in English and conversational in Spanish, AJay ensures patients feel comfortable, supported, and understood, meeting them where they are and fostering meaningful connection.
