Ashley Martinez, APRN, is a compassionate Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at My Psychiatrist in Miami, Florida. She is bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish. Born and raised in Miami, Ashley has always had a passion for mental health and is dedicated to providing personalized care to her community.

She specializes in treating a wide range of mental health conditions and is committed to improving access to mental health services. Ashley believes in creating a supportive and understanding environment where patients feel comfortable sharing their concerns.

Her Journey and Approach to Care

Ashley received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Florida International University. Recognizing her passion for mental health, she pursued a second bachelor’s degree and became a Registered Nurse after completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Miami Dade College School of Nursing.

After working in the emergency room setting for multiple years, Ashley realized the significant need for mental health services in the community. Motivated to make a greater impact, she pursued her Master’s Degree in Nursing at Nova Southeastern University, where she graduated Cum Laude.

Ashley is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to her patients. She focuses on building strong therapeutic relationships and tailoring treatment plans to meet each individual’s unique needs.
