Denise Castellanos, RMHCI, is a compassionate Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern who provides therapy for children, teens, and adults. She helps clients manage anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions, creating a supportive and inclusive space where they feel understood and empowered.
Her experience spans outpatient therapy, life coaching, and case management, allowing her to connect deeply with clients from diverse backgrounds and guide them toward greater self-awareness and resilience.

Denise takes an eclectic approach to therapy, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, psychodynamic, relational therapy, motivational interviewing, and person-centered techniques. Her style incorporates authenticity and humor to invite clients to share openly while working together toward meaningful growth. Denise strives to leave clients feeling empowered and equipped with the tools they need to face life’s challenges with confidence.
She brings an appreciation for cultural identity and the diverse experiences that shape her clients’ lives. Denise speaks Spanish and values the ability to connect with clients in the language in which they feel most comfortable. She was drawn to the counseling field by her passion for human connection and the privilege of holding space for others. Denise finds meaning in witnessing the changes that unfold throughout sessions, believing that progress—no matter how small—is invaluable.
