Eimy Barranco, APRN, is a compassionate dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at My Psychiatrist. Originally from Cuba, she brings a rich cultural perspective to her practice, deeply understanding the unique challenges faced by individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Eimy specializes in providing evidence-based mental health care to diverse populations. She integrates therapeutic techniques, medication management, and lifestyle interventions to help her patients achieve optimal mental wellness. Her holistic, patient-centered approach focuses on treating the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.

Her Journey and Approach to Care

Eimy earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nursing from Nova Southeastern University. She further enhanced her expertise with a Post-Master’s certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of Miami. Her education and experiences have shaped her dedication to creating a safe and supportive environment where patients feel valued and empowered.
