Faryal Choudry, LCSW, MS ABA, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to supporting individuals in overcoming life’s challenges and building a path toward lasting growth and resilience. She specializes in treating anxiety, depression, self-esteem struggles, disordered eating, substance use, relationship difficulties, and work-related stress. With an evidence-based and compassionate approach, Faryal helps clients gain insight, develop effective coping strategies, and achieve meaningful change.
Her Journey and Approach to Care
Faryal earned her Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University and her Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis from Purdue Global University. This dual training provides her with a unique perspective that blends traditional therapy with behavioral science, ensuring a holistic and practical approach to care.
Her therapeutic style integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). By tailoring each treatment plan to her clients’ unique needs and goals, she fosters a collaborative and empowering therapeutic environment.
Currently in the process of becoming a certified Gestalt Therapist, Faryal brings a present-focused and relational lens to her sessions. This approach encourages clients to explore how past and present experiences shape their self-perception and relationships, helping them cultivate greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and personal growth.
She believes that joy, curiosity, and creativity are powerful tools for healing—and she integrates this philosophy into her work with clients.
