Jacquelyn is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a therapist at My Psychiatrist in Boca Raton. She attended Florida Atlantic University, where she received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work. Jackie has worked with children, adolescents, and adults. She has experience working with LGBTQIA+ of all ages, with specialties in Gender Identity Affirmation in youth. She also has experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or those living with HIV. She assisted in the creation of support and therapeutic groups at the local LGBT community Center for children and teens in the LGBTQIA+ community.
She has lived in Florida for over 25 years and has served the community for 15 of them. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, meditation, and mindfulness work as her primary treatment modalities. She is excited to partner with the My Psychiatrist team to help patients live their lives to the fullest.
