Jenny Latorre, APRN, is a compassionate Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at My Psychiatrist. With extensive experience across various nursing disciplines, Jenny is dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health care to her patients. As a double board-certified practitioner, she integrates her diverse medical background to offer personalized and evidence-based treatments.

She believes that mental health is the epitome of what makes us whole and builds a foundation for better living. Jenny utilizes positive affirmations and therapeutic techniques to help restructure fears and insecurities into more positive thoughts, empowering her patients on their journey toward mental wellness.

Her Journey and Approach to Care

Jenny began her nursing career after receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Nova Southeastern University in 2007. She pursued her Master’s Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2014 at the University of Miami, specializing in Bariatric and General Surgery. In 2020, driven by her passion for mental health, she obtained her Post-Master’s Degree as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, becoming double board-certified.

With experience in Emergency Room Level 1 Trauma, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), Operating Room (OR), Medical-Surgical Units, Plastics, Home Health, and as an Adjunct Faculty member, Jenny brings a wealth of knowledge to her practice. Her dedication to humanity and deeply rooted passion for service and exceptionalism guide her approach to delivering evidence-based care.

In her practice, Jenny focuses on treating the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. She is committed to helping her patients achieve better living through positive affirmations and personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs.
