Jessica Cuero brings a wealth of dedication and compassion to our team. With a Master’s degree in Social Work from Florida International University, Jessica is driven by her commitment to sparking positive transformations in the lives of individuals and families.
Drawing from a rich background spanning outpatient mental health centers and community-based organizations, Jessica brings a versatile skill set to her role as a Registered Social Work Intern. At New Horizons Community Mental Health Center, she supported adults navigating co-morbid mental health and substance use disorders, refining her expertise in crisis intervention, individual and group therapy, and case management.
Furthering her journey, Jessica served as a Family Support Specialist at JAFCO Children’s Ability Center, where she specialized in offering therapeutic case management to children and families affected by disabilities and chronic illnesses. Her holistic approach encompassed emotional guidance and strategic connections to vital community resources, demonstrating her adeptness in navigating complex systems to ensure families received the comprehensive support they needed.
