Juan Gabriel Quiros, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist providing care to patients in Oakland Park, FL. Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, Dr. Quiros proudly embraces his Puerto Rican heritage and brings a culturally informed, patient-centered approach to mental health care.
He earned his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his psychiatry residency at the Medical College of Georgia, followed by specialized fellowship training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in South Florida. His advanced training allows him to treat a wide range of psychiatric conditions across the lifespan with depth and clinical precision.

He has held leadership roles in correctional psychiatry, including Chief of Psychiatry within the Broward County jail system and Associate Chief of Psychiatry at Jackson Health System. These experiences have shaped his ability to deliver thoughtful, structured, and compassionate care in even the most challenging clinical environments.
He works with individuals navigating depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, PTSD, and severe mental illness, helping patients better understand their symptoms while building practical strategies for stability and long-term improvement. His approach is both evidence-based and deeply human, recognizing that each patient’s story, background, and goals are essential to effective treatment.
