She specializes in utilizing a strengths-based approach when working with clients, helping them overcome challenges and achieve personal growth. Lisaimy has experience with crisis interventions, conjoint behavioral consultation, and parent-child interaction therapy, supporting both adults and families in navigating complex mental health issues.

Her Journey and Approach to Care

Lisaimy graduated from the University of Florida in 2016 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, minoring in Leadership and completing a Pre-Medical track. She pursued her Master’s Degree in Social Work at Florida International University, where she graduated with the Dean’s Excellence Award in December 2018.

During her master’s program, she interned at Cleveland Clinic Florida, implementing crisis interventions while working with adult patients diagnosed with cancer. She also worked with Citrus Health Network, providing conjoint behavioral consultation and parent-child interaction therapy to children and families. Her dedication and excellence led to employment offers from both internship placements upon graduation.

With a commitment to empowering her clients, Lisaimy believes in building upon each individual’s inherent strengths and resources. She creates a supportive environment where clients feel confident and motivated to achieve their mental health goals.
