Lisaimy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and her motto since Undergraduate studies has been to instill confidence in others through her profession. She graduated from University of Florida in 2016 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, Minor in Leadership, and Pre-Medical track. Lisaimy went on to pursue her Masters in Social Work at Florida International University and graduated with the Dean’s Excellence Award in December 2018. During her Master’s program she interned with Cleveland Clinic Florida where she implemented Crisis Interventions while working with adult patients diagnosed with cancer.
She worked with Citrus Health Network providing Conjoint Behavioral Consultation, and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy to children and families. Upon graduating, she was offered employment from both internship placements. During her time as a social worker, she can say that she implements a strengths-based approach when handling any case.
