She pursued her education at Miami Dade College in Miami Dade, Florida, where she obtained her ASN and BSN degrees. Driven by her passion for mental health, Losarnia went on to attend Florida Atlantic University, where she earned her Master’s in Science, fulfilling her lifelong dream of becoming a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
With a diverse background in various healthcare settings, including the Emergency Room and inpatient facilities, Losarnia has gained valuable experience in treating a wide range of mental health conditions. Her areas of expertise include Women’s Health, Postpartum, Peripartum, Mood and Anxiety Disorders, ADHD, Impulsive/Disruptive Behavior Disorders, Psychotic Disorders, PTSD, Depression, Schizophrenia, and many others.
As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at My Psychiatrist, Losarnia combines her extensive knowledge, caring attitude, and exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively assess, diagnose, and treat the mental health needs of her patients.
