Dr. Companioni is a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and a Board-Certified Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN-BC) with over 12 years of clinical experience in both acute and chronic psychiatric care. With a deep commitment to advancing mental health care, Dr. Companioni has worked in a variety of settings, including inpatient psychiatric hospitals, outpatient clinics, and community mental health organizations.
As a skilled clinician, Dr. Companioni has provided compassionate care to individuals across the lifespan, managing a broad spectrum of psychiatric conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, trauma-related disorders, substance use disorders, and LGBTQ+ related concerns.
Dr. Companioni has also established herself as a respected researcher in the field of psychiatry and her work has been presented at national and international conferences, contributing to the advancement of psychiatric patients’ management in the clinical trial setting.
