Dr. Nivedita Sharma is a psychiatrist with a passion for helping others. She grew up in Wisconsin and pursued her premedical studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. There, she majored in biology and psychology and earned certificates in global health and gender and women’s studies.
After her time at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Dr. Sharma attended medical school at St. George’s University, where she honed her skills and knowledge in the medical field. Currently, she is in her third year of residency at Broward Health Medical Center, focusing on psychiatry.
Dr. Sharma’s interests in psychiatry are diverse and far-reaching. She is particularly drawn to child and adolescent psychiatry, recognizing the importance of providing specialized care during these crucial stages of life. Additionally, she has a keen interest in psychotherapy, understanding the significance of therapy in improving mental health.
