Odette Alvarez, RCSWI, is a compassionate and client-centered Registered Clinical Social Work Intern committed to supporting individuals through life’s most challenging moments. Holding a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Florida International University, Odette brings a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and collaborative approach to mental health care.
Therapy and Approach to Treatment
Odette’s professional journey has focused on helping individuals impacted by trauma, stress, and systemic adversity. With experience delivering evidence-based interventions in both community and research settings, she integrates clinical knowledge with a person-centered approach. She has worked extensively with adult populations navigating chronic pain and illness management as well as adults with post-traumatic stress, anxiety, and burnout, particularly those in high-stress professions and caregiving roles.
Her therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, curiosity, and respect for each person’s unique experience. Drawing from her background in digital health delivery, Odette is especially attuned to the ways people engage with therapy in modern, flexible formats. Whether in-person or virtual, she strives to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe, empowered, and supported in their growth.
Odette believes in therapy as a collaborative process – one where healing is built through trust, self-awareness, and practical tools for change. She values each client’s strengths and tailors treatment to support their goals, resilience, and long-term well-being.
