Patricia Gene, RCSWI, is a compassionate and dedicated Registered Clinical Social Work Intern who provides services in both English and Spanish. With a solid foundation in social work and a deep commitment to supporting others, Patricia works with clients across the lifespan- including children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. With clinical experience focused on adolescents, and adults in outpatient settings.
Her Journey and Approach to Care
Patricia earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Florida International University. She has provided therapeutic services in a variety of community-based settings, supporting youth and families facing emotional and behavioral challenges, working with refugee populations, and strengthening her expertise in trauma-informed care and culturally responsive practice.
Patricia specializes in helping clients manage anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, identity development, and interpersonal difficulties. She is deeply committed to providing compassionate, client-centered care that empowers individuals to better understand themselves and foster lasting change. Her work is grounded in empathy, respect, and a strong belief in every person’s capacity for healing and growth.
Clinical Focus and Therapeutic Approach
Patricia integrates evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy into her work. Her approach is culturally sensitive, strengths-based, and always tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
