Rachel is a dedicated and compassionate therapist driven by her commitment to fostering positive change in the lives of individuals and families. Holding a Master’s degree in Social Work from Florida International University, Rachel brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role as a Registered Social Work Intern at My Psychiatrist.
With a background that spans across residential treatment centers and community-based organizations, Rachel possesses a diverse skill set that equips her to provide comprehensive support to those in need. Her tenure as a Therapist at Oliver Pyatt Centers allowed her to work closely with adolescents and adults grappling with mental health and behavioral challenges. During this time, she honed her abilities in crisis intervention, individual and group therapy, and case management.
Rachel’s journey continued as a Social Worker at JAFCO Children’s Ability Center, where she specialized in assisting children and families affected by disabilities and chronic illnesses. Through this role, she not only offered emotional guidance but also facilitated connections with vital community resources, all while navigating intricate systems to ensure families received the support they required.
