Rebecca Rochford Buckley, a devoted Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at My Psychiatrist, is committed to providing quality, compassionate care to her patients. Her educational foundation includes a Master of Science in Nursing from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University, offering a dynamic approach to patient care.
Beginning her career in 2015, Rebecca gained extensive experience in a high-pressure trauma unit focusing on ortho/neuro/trauma care. Over seven years, she provided empathetic bedside care to patients with traumatic injuries and complex surgical needs, enhancing her skills in clinical care and deepening her understanding of diverse cultural backgrounds.
Rebecca’s professional journey also spans medical-surgical and telemetry units, where she managed various comorbid diagnoses. This experience underscored the importance of mental health inpatient recovery, strengthening her passion for psychiatric care and empathy-driven practice.
Today, Rebecca strives to guide patients toward rediscovering themselves and achieving the balance they seek in life. Her practice is centered on treating the whole person, not just symptoms, offering a supportive and safe environment for those on their path to mental wellness.
