His Journey and Approach to Care
Rene’s path to psychiatry started with a simple goal: to make a real difference in people’s lives. During his early nursing career, he saw firsthand how often mental health needs went unaddressed—and how powerful the right care could be. That experience inspired him to pursue advanced training as a psychiatric nurse practitioner.
Today, Rene blends medical knowledge with empathy, listening carefully and working side by side with patients to build treatment plans that truly fit their lives. Whether it’s through medication management, supportive therapy, or just creating a safe space to talk, Rene believes in meeting people where they are and helping them move forward at their own pace.
No matter what brings someone in, Rene’s goal is always the same: to make sure they feel seen, heard, and empowered to take control of their mental health.
