Rose Favard, LCSW, is a passionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker at My Psychiatrist. With both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work from Florida State University, Rose is committed to fostering positive change in the lives of individuals through compassionate care.

She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role, having worked with at-promise youth and families, as well as children and families affected by developmental disabilities and chronic illnesses. Rose specializes in providing support to those facing a variety of challenges, utilizing her expertise to empower clients on their journey toward well-being.

Her Journey and Approach to Care

Rose’s dedication to mental health began at the PACE Center for Girls, where she provided essential social, emotional, and behavioral support services to at-promise youth and their families. Her work focused on empowering girls ages 11-17 to overcome challenges and thrive, honing her abilities in crisis intervention, individual therapy, and familial interventions.

Furthering her journey, Rose served as a Family Support Specialist at JAFCO Children’s Ability Center, specializing in assisting children and families affected by developmental disabilities and chronic illnesses. She offered emotional guidance and facilitated connections with vital community resources, providing invaluable support to those in need.

Deeply committed to continued education and staying abreast of best practices in the field, Rose ensures she is always equipped with the latest tools and strategies to provide the highest level of care to her clients.
