Dr. Fahim believes that every person’s story deserves to be heard and every struggle deserves compassion. As a third-year Psychiatry Resident in Hollywood, Florida, Dr. Fahim is known for her heartfelt, patient-centered approach, helping people rediscover hope and strength on their journey to mental wellness. She is deeply committed to creating safe spaces where stigma is replaced by understanding, and healing becomes possible for all.
Her passion for mental health began at the University of Toronto, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Neuroscience. Driven by her curiosity about the human mind and her empathy for those facing mental health challenges, she pursued her Doctor of Medicine (MD) at the American University of Integrative Sciences (AUIS). With each step of her training, her devotion to whole-person care only grew stronger.
His Journey and Approach to Care
Dr. Fahim’s approach is rooted in genuine connection and respect for each patient’s unique background. Her diverse clinical experiences—across many geographic and cultural settings—have shown her that mental health is shaped by our stories, communities, and environments. She champions advocacy, health equity, and integrative psychiatric care, with special focus on trauma-informed care, women’s mental health, and expanding access to those who need it most. Above all, Dr. Fahim believes in walking alongside her patients, offering guidance, empathy, and education at every step.
