Dr. William Sultan, MD, is a dedicated Psychiatrist at My Psychiatrist in Oakland Park, Florida. As a third-year psychiatric resident, Dr. Sultan is committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive mental health care, tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
His Journey and Approach to Care
Dr. Sultan began his academic journey at UC Berkeley, where he double majored in Molecular and Cellular Biologyand Psychology. This strong foundation in both the biological sciences and human behavior inspired his pursuit of a career in psychiatry. He earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Florida Atlantic University, where he developed a deep interest in mental health and psychiatric care.
Currently, as a third-year psychiatric resident at Broward Health Imperial Point and Broward Health Medical Center, Dr. Sultan has gained extensive experience in treating a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, PTSD, and addiction. His diverse clinical experience equips him with the skills necessary to provide comprehensive and personalized care to his patients.
Dr. Sultan believes in a patient-centered approach, taking the time to understand each individual’s unique circumstances and challenges. He is dedicated to creating a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where patients feel comfortable sharing their concerns and working collaboratively towards their mental wellness goals.
