Yisel Batlle, RMHCI, is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern providing compassionate, evidence-based psychotherapy in South Miami and throughout Florida. She works with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions, helping clients build practical coping skills while gaining deeper insight into patterns of thought, emotion, and behavior.
Yisel utilizes an integrative therapeutic approach grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), along with Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness practices, and trauma-informed care. Her work focuses on creating a supportive, collaborative environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their mental health journey.
Her Journey and Approach to Care
Yisel’s path into mental health counseling is rooted in her passion for helping others find clarity, healing, and direction in their lives. Through her clinical training and hands-on experience as a mental health intern, she has developed a strong foundation in building therapeutic relationships and guiding clients through meaningful personal growth.
She believes that healing begins with connection. Yisel creates a safe, nonjudgmental space where individuals can openly explore their experiences, challenges, and goals. Her approach is client-centered, empathetic, and collaborative, empowering clients to take an active role in their care while developing strategies that feel realistic and sustainable.
Guided by the belief that “light can find a way through the cracks of brokenness,” Yisel supports clients in rediscovering their strengths and moving forward with resilience and confidence.
